SUMMARY:Employer Perspectives on Integrating Newcomer Talent
DESCRIPTION:World Skills Employment Centre is hosting a forum on "Employer Perspectives on Integrating Newcomer Talent." This event will bring together business leaders\, HR professionals and DEI practitioners to engage in candid conversations about challenges\, opportunities and best practices related to hiring and retaining newcomers. \n\n \n\nIn 2024\, over 1 in 4 members of Canada's labour force were immigrants. We also know that immigration is the main driver of labour market growth. Given these demographic shifts\, we think it's very important to create spaces where employers can raise questions and share ideas about newcomer integration. \n\n\n\nThis special employer forum will be held on April 24 from 4-6 pm at the World Skills office. \n\n\n\nTo register\, please visit the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/GUL05xJjdt.\n\n\n\nIf you have any questions\, please contact gail@ottawa-worldskills.org.
