DESCRIPTION:Interested in knowing more about electric vehicles?\n\nEV Experience is here to help! Together with local partners\, our mission is to provide the most up-to-date information about personal electric vehicles (of every type) and break down myths and barriers.\n\nJoin Raymond Leury\, President of the Electric Vehicle Council of Ottawa and Jen Stelzer\, Director of Community Sustainability Programs as we discuss EVs for your workplace.\n\nWe will go over the logistics\, staff engagement\, opportunities and best practices for supporting personal EVs at a workplace. We will share some examples of how businesses have brought a transition to more sustainable commuting to their employees. Fleets will be discussed briefly\, but the focus of this evening is the shift to EVs for personal use/commuting.\n\nC?ome with your questions and share your experiences! Help spark the knowledge about EVs.\n\nThis is a hybrid event offered in-person or virtually. For those attending in-person\, there will be an informal networking session after the presentation. A complimentary light vegetarian meal and refreshments will be provided.\n\nEV Experience is funded by Natural Resources Canada\, the Ottawa Climate Action Fund\, Ottawa Community Foundation\, and EnviroCentre in partnership with the City of Ottawa\, Communauto\, and EVCO.
