DESCRIPTION:Light Lyme\; shedding a light on Lyme Disease in the Nation's Capital.\n\n\n\nTo be hosted during Lyme Disease Awareness Month in May 2019\, Light Lyme will be an interactive charitable awareness event to shed light on Lyme Disease in the Nation's Capital with all proceeds being raised to launch an urgently required and first of it's kind Lyme Disease program in Ottawa.\n\n\n\nThis family fun event will include appetizers\, games\, activities and contest for the whole family\, a silent auction\, and a unique new twist on a photo booth all before moving into presentations from speakers from the Lyme Disease community on need to know topics to shed light on everything from prevention\, the risks\, how to seek proper medical care\, and a look into a life with this endemic and potentially fatal disease currently on a significant rise in our region.\n\n\n\n\n\nTHE CALL!\n\nWhat began as a charitable awareness event to bring awareness of Lyme Disease to the Ottawa and surrounding communities has initiated a call to action for prevention of this debilitating life-long bacterial infection\, and will serve as a fundraiser to launch the Ability First Ottawa Lyme Disease Initiative. \n\n\n\nParking is FREE\n\nChildren under 2 get in FREE\n\n\n\nHave a question?\n\nInterested in becoming one of our speakers or sponsors?\n\nWant to be a part of the team?\n\nAll inquiries can be sent to Crystaljoy Parman (creator of Light Lyme and Lyme Disease Warrior and Advocate) at lightlymeott@gmail.com
