DESCRIPTION:The 2018 Municipal Election in Ottawa provided some definitive direction to our new Council that increased talent and economic development opportunities are required. As well\, the Election results provided a dose of change\, in terms of the personalities around the table.\n\n \n\nWith two fresh faces from East Ottawa joining an experienced group of Councillors\, we want to take the opportunity to discuss business community priorities and see where they intersect with our elected municipal representatives.\n\n \n\nOur December 13th\, the Ottawa board of Trade will host its Local Breakfast Series event with a focus on East Ottawa with a panel discussion with Councillors Stephen Blais\, Laura Dudas\, Matthew Luloff and Tim Tierney. We will have them on the hot seat and ensure active audience participation to discuss the future of East Ottawa.\n\n\n\nIn addition\, we invite you to an important update from the consultants undertaking an economic development study for East Ottawa\, immediately following the Breakfast from 9-10 AM.
