Register today for a unique and meaningful local business event that will unite employers with job candidates who are Veterans. Join us on Thursday, February 1, 2024. 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Hub350, the gateway to Canada’s largest technology park.
The City of Ottawa’s Veterans Task Force, the Province of Ontario, Kanata North Business Association, Challenge Factory, and True Patriot Love Foundation have teamed up to bring you the Veteran Friendly Ontario (VFO) Challenge—a joint Veteran-business experiential training program designed to accelerate and enrich the recruitment, onboarding, and hiring of Veterans.
Our objective is to increase income resiliency for both groups and potentially generate new employment opportunities during the event. Your only commitments are time and a desire to learn.

A Training Program to Inform Businesses Who Want to Hire More Veterans
The free training program will facilitate further opportunities for business owners and leaders, human resources professionals, and hiring managers to experience first-hand the value of Veteran talent, skills, and problem-solving. It is designed to increase business competence in talent attraction, retention, and career management.
A Training Program to Develop Veterans in Transition
In parallel, this training program was created to develop Veterans’ civilian career-ready skills, providing content and tools to help them gain situational awareness of small to medium sized (up to 500 employees) business needs and challenges.
By taking part in this training program, businesses leaders will:
