Louis W Bray Construction Limited

About Us

Louis Bray and his wife June established Louis W. Bray Construction Limited in 1972. At the start of Louis’ career, he worked for the Department of Highways of Ontario (DHO), beginning as a labourer on a survey crew and eventually earning the position of supervisor. He worked on such notable projects as Highway 401 in Eastern Ontario and Highway 417 in Ottawa among others. Louis was swiftly recognized as an industry leader due to his integrity, knowledge, experience and strong work ethic.

The company is now led by Michael Bray, Professional Engineer, who became a full-time employee after graduating from a Civil Engineering program in 1985. With his father’s guidance, he worked his way up from Foreman to Vice-President. The company continues to grow and diversify under Michael’s direction as President since Louis’ passing in 1990.

After some time spent working outside the business in the construction industry, Nicholas Bray returned to the company in 2016. Michael mentors his son by sharing his own valuable knowledge and expertise; and by leveraging these ongoing lessons, Nick looks forward to enhancing the team in his own capacity.

Looking ahead, LW Bray continues to grow in all areas of the business: Earthworks & Underground, Concrete Structures & Water/Wastewater treatment facilities.
