Tabatha, a proud member of Nipissing First Nation, holds the distinction of being named CEO of the Year for 2022 by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, was recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women in 2023, and named as Top 100 Lobbyist in Canada four years in a row. As the President and CEO of CCIB, she is dedicated to rebuilding and strengthening the path towards reconciliation and fostering a prosperous Indigenous economy for the benefit of all Canadians. With a background in electrical engineering, Tabatha is committed to promoting Indigenous inclusion and diversity in Canada's energy sector.
Caroline Codsi, ICD.D, is the Founder and Chief Equity Officer of Women in Governance, which she launched in 2010 to advance gender parity in leadership. In 2017, with the support of McKinsey & Company, she created the Parity CertificationTM, now adopted by hundreds of major organizations such as Pfizer, Fedex, Rolls Royce, and Mercer, impacting over one million employees across North America.
Mitzie Hunter is a dynamic leader with 30 years of experience working in the private and non-profit sectors, and in government. She was the first Black woman to serve as Ontario’s Minister of Education, she was also Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Development and Associate Minister of Finance. Today she is President and CEO of the Canadian Women’s Foundation and a respected advocate for women, girls, and gender-diverse people across the country.
Mitzie is known for her expertise in an array of issues, including building neighbourhoods, communities and cities – and the infrastructure and inclusive economies that support them. She has held leadership positions with the Prosperity Project, Toronto Community Housing Corporation, CivicAction, Goodwill Industries, and SMART Toronto, a technology hub. Her community commitment is evident through board roles with Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, Fidelity Investments Canada, The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, United Way Greater Toronto, and TVO. In 2023, Mitzie ran for mayor of the City of Toronto. She is a Senior Fellow with the C.D. Howe Institute, Chair of the Sectoral Table on the Caring Economy, and a Canadian Urban Leader at the University of Toronto’s School of Cities.
