Abacus Data, CEO David Coletto will provide an overview of key findings, followed by a panel discussion and live audience polling.
This survey data will provide context for June 12, which is a full-day of keynotes, panels and perspectives that are designed to create a clearer picture of Ottawa's future.

David Coletto, CEO, Abacus Data
David is one of the founding partners and CEO of Abacus Data.
He manages the day to day operations and leads Abacus Data?s team of research consultants and strategists, delivering strategic advice and research design expertise to some of Canada?s leading corporations, advocacy groups, and political leaders.
David earned a doctorate from the University of Calgary in 2010 and he is an Adjunct Professor at the Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs at Carleton University.
David is an OBJ-Ottawa Board of Trade Forty Under 40 recipient in 2013.
Lorraine Mastersmith, Partner, Gowling WLG
Lorraine Mastersmith is an Ottawa-based partner in Gowling WLG?s Corporate Commercial and Capital Markets Groups. Her practice focuses largely on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on assisting emerging and established companies across a variety of sectors with commercial agreements, mergers & acquisitions and capital raising.
Lorraine is the Ottawa lead for the firm?s Blockchain and Smart Contracts Group. Over the course of her career both as in-house counsel and in private practice, Lorraine has assisted clients in raising hundreds of millions of dollars in financing from banks, angel investors, private equity and venture capital firms.
Lorraine applies her business acumen to assist clients in the development of strategic plans and governance policies, and currently serves as an independent director and corporate secretary of Ross Video Limited.
Lorraine is actively involved as an Ottawa Regional Ambassador Council member for Women Get on Board, an organization devoted to the advancement of qualified women to corporate boards.
Alexander Peh, Vice President, Innovation, Technology & Operations, RBC
Prior to joining RBC, he was the Head of Market Development & Mobile for PayPal Canada. An active startup advisor, FinTech investor, and entrepreneur mentor, Alexzander sits on the Board of Directors of Ascend Canada and a range of Advisory Boards including TechToronto, Symend Inc., Singularity University Canada. He is global citizen having lived and worked in Africa, South-East Asia, Europe and North America and is a passionate advocate and ambassador of Women in Tech and Leadership, Diversity & Inclusivity, and other worthy causes. Alexander has been featured in The Globe & Mail, National Post, The Financial Times, TechVibes, VentureBeat, BetaKit, MobileSyrup, Toronto Life and more.
Mark Bonneau, Chief Revenue Officer, NHL Ottawa Senators & Canadian Tire Centre
Mark is the Chief Revenue Officer with the NHL Ottawa Senators Hockey Club and Canadian Tire Centre.
Bonneau is an original member of the franchise and its founding firm Terrace Investments. As Chief Revenue Officer, Mark?s departments are responsible for the sales and service of client sponsorships, private suites and ticket sales. A member of the NHL Corporate Partnership Advisory Committee.
Charitable Boards that he is involved with are the Ottawa Senators Foundation and the Ottawa Boys and Girls Club Ringside for Youth Committee.
Mark is a native of Prescott, Ontario and graduated in 1980 from South Grenville District High School as an Ontario Scholar. Mark was a member of the CJHL Brockville Braves Junior A Hockey Club from 1978 to 1980. While a member of the Brockville Braves he earned a Division One ECAC hockey scholarship to Saint Lawrence University in Canton New-York.
While at Saint Lawrence University he attained the distinctions of Freshman and Senior Male Academic Athlete of the Year, Charles Dana Scholar, and Arthur Torrey Scholar. He was Co-Captain of the 1984 ECAC Hockey Team. Mark completed his hockey career in 1984 with the Hershey Bears of the AHL.
Mark is a resident of Merrickville, Ontario and is married to Anita deVries-Bonneau, and has two daughters Ariel, and Hannah.
