Welcome to Common Ground, a complimentary OBOT member-to-member networking event designed to build a stronger local business community.
Common Ground provides space for conversations where business leaders examine areas that SMEs need support, and brainstorm resources needed to address these gaps. Each conversation throughout the year will focus on a different theme to enable a deep dive into that topic, allowing the group to identify which resources already exist in our community, and what opportunities there are for development and collaboration.
The Discussion
An environment supporting mental wellness isn’t a “nice to have” for small and mid-sized businesses, it’s a business imperative. Join us for a candid Common Ground conversation on health and wellness, where we’ll unpack what it really takes to support both leaders and employees in today’s workplace.
We’ll explore:
Why mental health is now an organizational responsibility, not just a personal one
How proactive approaches can prevent burnout before it impacts performance
The real cost of ignoring wellness, from disengagement to productivity loss
The role leaders play in setting the tone for sustainable, healthy teams
How open conversations can strengthen culture and drive long-term success
