BLG is pleased to announce that Janet Claridge of Family Consultants Ottawa and Nadine Crowley of Nadine Crowley Counselling and Mediation will be presenting on the subject of parent-child reconciliation counselling at our next Lunch and Learn on April 25, 2019.
Therapeutic intervention has been a hotly contested issue in recent jurisprudence, and orders for reconciliation counselling are increasingly being sought to remedy prolonged periods of estrangement or parental alienation. Ms. Claridge and Ms. Crowley are both registered social workers with extensive experience as clinical investigators for the Office of the Children’s lawyer, and they bring a wealth of knowledge and understanding to this difficult topic. This presentation is a must-see for family lawyers who practice high-conflict custody litigation.
