Description
On Monday, October 16, 2023, join us as we celebrate the remarkable achievements of women entrepreneurs and leaders across North America who are redefining the global sports industry.
Hosted by the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa, Invest Ottawa and the Ottawa Board of Trade at Bayview Yards, the innovation hub in Canada's Capital, this free bilateral hybrid event will bring together founders, thought leaders and trailblazers from the U.S. and Canada who are redefining the sports sector.
These visionary founders and innovators are creating winning sports products, strategies and companies, and achieving market share and impact in this global industry. It is big business. According to Statistica, the global sports market was valued at US $487 billion in 2022, and it is expected to be worth more than US $623 billion in 2027.
This topic builds on President Biden and Prime Minister Trudeau’s Building Back Better and Advancing Diversity and Inclusion pillars of the Roadmap for a Renewed U.S.-Canada Partnership.
Join us in person at Bayview Yards or online anywhere there is WiFi, and be our guest for an evening of insightful entrepreneurial discussions, networking, and inspiration.
