Loch March Golf & Country Club
A distinguished group of lawyers and a team of all-world escape artists have combined their resources to serve up golf, with a twist. The Fall Classic, designed to not only test your golfing prowess but your mental toughness, is being held in support of the Ottawa Network for Education (ONFE). Join us for a day of divots, donations and delights, if you dare. Given that ONFE is the organization responsible for delivering the School Breakfast Program all across Ottawa, the format will, of course, be a scramble.
About ONFE: ONFE is an Ottawa charity that works closely with education, business, government and community partners to develop enriching programs for K-12 students. Working with the four public Ottawa school boards, ONFE supports children and youth in English and French. In addition to the School Breakfast Program, which serves 14,500 breakfasts to children and youth every school day, ONFE offers experiential learning with classroom garden towers; recruites trains and places volunteers to support literacy, math and ESL; and with JA Ottawa, financial literacy, youth entrepreneurship and mentors for career readiness. ONFE also facilitates the STEP for Youth and Schools Community Coalition, ensuring there are community councillors in all high schools supporting problematic substance and technology use.
