Join Mayor Jim Watson, the Ottawa Board of Trade and the Ottawa Business Journal as the highly anticipated Mayor's Breakfast returns on Friday, November 27, 2020 with Diane Brisebois, President & CEO, Retail Council of Canada.

Start your morning with a cup of coffee and join in from 7:30AM - 8:00AM as we network and reconnect with colleagues in the business community (Zoom link to be provided). At 8:00AM, Mayor Jim Watson and Diane Brisebois will come to you from Council Chambers on Rogers 22 and via social media platforms to deliver a dynamic conversation.

The Mayor's Breakfast Series is an opportunity to network and stay informed on issues vital to Ottawa's prosperity and quality. Focusing on issues such as economic development, transportation and the environment, this breakfast series provides an opportunity to network and stay informed.

Guest Speaker: Diane Brisebois, President & CEO, Retail Council of Canada.

Diane J. Brisebois is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Retail Council of Canada (RCC) and has held that position since 1995. Retail Council is the largest retail association in the country representing more than 45,000 retail establishments of all shapes and sizes from coast to coast. RCC`s membership covers all retail segments including general merchandise, fashion, grocery and pharmacy and accounts for more than 70% of all retail sales in the country excluding auto and gas sales.

The Mayor's Breakfast is a longstanding event that brings together hundreds of the region's top business, community and political leaders. The event includes great networking, a City Hall update from Mayor Watson and high-profile speakers addressing issues that are vital to the city, province and country.
