Plantaform Viewing Party - Journey to the Dragon's Den

Join Hatch program alumnus Alberto Aguilar, the co-founder and CEO at Plantaform and his team as the Innovation Hub at Carleton University recaps their journey to the Dragon’s Den Stage.  Plantaform is an agritech venture founded in 2020 developing indoor growing systems. 
The team has had incredible success in the last few months, and just kickstarted their U.S. expansion by exhibiting at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. At CES, Plantaform won three major awards, including Best of Innovation in the Food and AgriTech category.

Pioneering NASAs fogponics technology, they are at the forefront of the most water-efficient and fastest plant-growing irrigation technology in agriculture. Formerly, Alberto co-founded Relomigo an AI-corporate-relocation software, acting as its Chief Operating Officer, and was the founder of YourDorm, an international student housing marketplace.
