Description
“What Happens When STEM meets TED” – How to communicate your work effectively with the public using TED-style story techniques.
As Einstein said: “Most of the fundamental ideas of science are essentially simple, and may, as a rule, be expressed in a language comprehensible to everyone.” Finding interesting topics in STEM fields is always easy. Finding subject-matter experts who are also interesting and engaging presenters, who are skilled at addressing non-technical audiences proved much more difficult. Teri will share a proven storytelling template and top TED techniques that will help you share your STEM work and increase your confidence in your public speaking abilities.
