From the cotton fields to the contemporary jazz sounds of today, The Gift of Jazz is A CELEBRATION of the courage, determination, grace and unrelenting spirit of the men and women who overcame incredible challenges; their profound contributions and impact on Black history, culture and music!
Join Deborah Davis and Segue to Jazz, Special guests; Canadian Olympic Hurdler Sekou Kaba, CTV News weekend anchor, Stefan Keyes, Ottawa English Poet Laureate Jamaal Jackson Rogers, Jazz vocalist Michael Hanna and former world tap dancing champion, Darin Kyle for their annual tribute to Black History Month.
