The Ottawa Hospital (TON) is ground zero when it comes to treating people infected with COVID-19. For more than one year, its doctors, nurses and medical staff have toiled day and night to save lives in this worsening pandemic. As vaccines continue to roll out, the president and CEO of the hospital will speak at the Mayor’s Breakfast on April 29.
Cameron Love took the leadership role on July 1, 2020. With a $1-billion budget and more than 1,200 employees, TON is considered to be one of Canada’s largest academic health sciences centres. A key project in Love’s mandate will be advancing the region’s new “super hospital,” which is slated to be built later this decade at the former site of the Sir John Carling Building. Love will be interviewed by local media personality and OBJ founder Mark Sutcliffe.
Start your morning with a cup of coffee and join in from 7:30AM - 8:00AM as we network and connect with colleagues in the business community.
At 8:00AM, watch the live broadcast on Rogers TV or the Mayors Facebook Page.
The Mayor's Breakfast Series is an opportunity to network and stay informed on issues vital to Ottawa's prosperity and quality. Focusing on issues such as economic development, transportation and the environment, this breakfast series provides an opportunity to network and stay informed.
