Description
Have you seen Oscar-winning “CODA”? What about Marvel’s “Echo” or HBO’s “The Last of Us?” Over the last couple of years, there's been a lot more representation from the Deaf community in mainstream media. But what do you really know about this community?
Join the Asign team Monday, June 17th at 1 p.m. ET to learn about Deaf culture, sign language and what it means to offer accessible communication.
We’ll discuss best practices for accommodating Deaf customers and employees and what organizations are required to do, according to Canadian legislation.
This session will be led by James Etheridge, Asign Manager and Deaf Community member and Brenda Jenkins, Asign Co-Owner and interpreter. Register here: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/9017144205087/WN_nfPM09ImSOC6sR4Tb0WKgg
