Virtual Business Crews – National Cohort 
Network with participants from across Canada!

 
Virtual Business Crews is a networking activity that uses intelligent matchmaking to group participants who share similar objectives. Participants are placed into groups designed with their specific interests in mind, and then meet with the same group of 15 – 20 people weekly over a four-week period to discuss and collaborate on achieving their business objectives. Meetings are led by an experienced facilitator in order to maximize your networking experience.

For the Spring 2022 National Cohort, the Ottawa Board of Trade is pleased to partner with the following Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade to offer this networking activity to participants from across Canada:

  • Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal
  • Toronto Region Board of Trade
  • Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce
  • Vancouver Board of Trade
  • Whistler Chamber of Commerce
Based on past Business Crews programs, 3 out of 4 participants reported concluding a business deal with second, third and even fourth-degree connections of those they had met in their crew.

Weekly over four weeks with two available time slots for meetings:
 

Mornings from 9:00 am to 11:00 am 
Or
Afternoons from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. 
 
There are four days of the week to choose from: 
 

Thursdays – March 17, 24 & 31, and April 7 

Fridays – March 18 & 25, and April 1 & 8 

Tuesdays – March 22 & 29, and April 5 & 12 

Wednesdays – March 23 & 30, and April 6 & 13

Step 1:

Step 2:
Complete the matching form* to identify your networking objectives and which types of profiles you wish to meet.
There are two available time slots for meetings:

 

Mornings from 9:00 am to 11:00 am 
Or

Afternoons from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. 



When filling out your form we ask that you identify four availabilities among the following dates:
 

Thursdays – March 17, 24 & 31, and April 7

Wednesdays – March 23 & 30, and April 6 & 13 ​


*matching form will be provided by email upon registration

Step 3:
Using the data provided in the matching form, the algorithm with place you into a group according to your availability. Groups will be confirmed on March 10.  

Fees/Admission

MEMBER: $225 +HST

NON-MEMBER: $305 +HST


Registration deadline: Thursday, March 3rd

Group confirmation: Week of March 10th
