About Us

Since 1987, Arts Network Ottawa has served its membership through programs, services, resources and connections. We advocate on behalf of and for the Ottawa arts community.

As announced in October, Arts Network Ottawa and the Ottawa Arts Council are merging to create a new, unified organization advancing the arts in Ottawa. Together, we will bring a stronger voice to our arts community.

In uniting the Ottawa Arts Council and Arts Network Ottawa, we’re not just merging organizations; we’re fostering systems change. This merger is rooted in community, equity, and collaboration, ensuring that the arts sector in Ottawa is resilient and prepared to meet future challenges. We are building a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable arts ecosystem that will serve the sector's evolving needs.

By centering collective action and long-term sustainability, the new merged organization hopes to build a community-driven arts ecosystem designed to adapt and thrive in an evolving landscape, ensuring Ottawa’s arts sector continues to flourish for generations to come.
