Enbridge Gas serves over 400,000 customers in Ottawa. The company provides heat and energy to three of every four homes. We heat Parliament, federal government offices, and businesses in one of the coldest capitals in the world.
Enbridge’s commitment to being a community builder and a good corporate citizen is steadfast. The company supports business and is a longstanding member of the Ottawa Board of Trade. In 2024, Enbridge is a Pillar Partner to the Board. In addition, the company sponsors the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Award at the annual Best Ottawa Business Awards and is the principal sponsor of the 2024 City Building Summit.
Our commitment to community goes beyond the Ottawa Board of Trade. Enbridge Gas has been a sponsor of Winterlude for over twenty years. This year, Enbridge invited staff from the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and their families to an evening of winter fun at the Snowflake Kingdom. We celebrated their role as community builders in health care in eastern Ontario. To mark the hospital’s 50th anniversary, Enbridge donated $20,000 to the CHEO Foundation to support children’s mental health and autism services.
