Employer Perspectives on Integrating Newcomer Talent
World Skills Employment Centre is hosting a forum on “Employer Perspectives on Integrating Newcomer Talent.” This event will bring together business leaders, HR professionals and DEI practitioners to engage in candid conversations about challenges, opportunities and best practices related to hiring and retaining newcomers.
In 2024, over 1 in 4 members of Canada’s labour force were immigrants. We also know that immigration is the main driver of labour market growth. Given these demographic shifts, we think it’s very important to create spaces where employers can raise questions and share ideas about newcomer integration.
This special employer forum will be held on April 24 from 4-6 pm at the World Skills office.
