Lean Six Sigma Professional

TPH is searching for a Lean Six Sigma Professional to join our team! 

The Lean Six Sigma Professional will lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence across TPH. This individual will manage Lean Six Sigma projects to ensure quality, reduce variation, improve process efficiency, and ensure that all performance improvement targets are met.

  • Assist the leadership team in the deployment and implementation of Lean Six Sigma projects to enhance operational performance.
  • Work closely with the executive team to identify key business improvement opportunities and align Lean Six Sigma initiatives with company objectives. Act as a link between the organization’s Six Sigma improvement program and the executive leadership team.
  • Guide and mentor Green Belts and other team members in data analysis, project management, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Conduct process analysis to reduce waste, enhance quality, and improve overall efficiency within company operations.
  • Facilitate Kaizen and Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs), encouraging cross-functional collaboration to solve complex business problems.
  • Translate business needs into practical project goals, creating measurable success metrics.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of data to ensure the correct information is used for decision-making.
  • Communicate project progress and results to senior management through clear and concise presentations.
  • Ensure that all Lean Six Sigma projects adhere to the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify) methodologies, or common lean principles.
  • Lead change management efforts, working with internal stakeholders to implement sustainable improvements.
  • Accurately analyzing options including impact and feasibility by mapping out in detail the desired situation and clearly defining methodology.
  • Act as a key liaison between the project teams and executives, ensuring alignment on goals and resource allocation.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Experience in the plumbing, mechanical, or construction industry is necessary.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with extensive experience leading Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies, including DMAIC, DMADV, and LEAN principles.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering measurable business results.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in statistical analysis and project management tools.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring project teams.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to foster teamwork, motivate others, and manage conflict.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
