Project Manager

TPH is looking for a Project Manager to join our team!
 
What Will You Do at TPH?
 
The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. 

  • Support to all other departments with special project-related issues
  • Show the special projects team work that needs to be completed either by drafting pictures/plans or by showing them in person on site
  • Reviewing all quotes to ensure all material and time has been included
  • Assemble all elements of a quote including a lead sheet t summarize all the elements
  • Preparing quotes and materials for special projects
  • Order and pre-order and organize material, equipment and subcontractors for upcoming jobs in an efficient manner
  • Apply technical experience to interpret documentation, specifications, and design drawings
  • Assist in the development of estimating plan to establish estimate/proposal strategies
  • Participate in presentation of estimates/quotes to senior management
  • Attend and participate in job showings, site visits, pre-quote meeting and post-quote meeting as required, bringing any pertinent information to the office for pricing
  • Works diligently to achieving the group sales target for the year
  • Establish and update records of all correspondence related to service activity
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, suppliers and engineers
  • Planning and overseeing special projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget
  • Attend project meetings, conferences, corporate events, and training as required
  • Preparation of monthly progress billing and prepare monthly progress updates with upper management
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other employees throughout the company
  • Coordinate larger-scale projects
  • Attend job showings and meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation including coordinating all deliveries of equipment and material in a timely manner
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Client relations and client development
  • Sales and 24-hour quote turn around
  • Other duties will be assigned as required
What You'll Bring:
  • Valid Plumber's License is required
  • Proven working experience in Project Management (2 years minimum)
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft office applications
  • Competent in construction terminology
  • Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset
