About Us
Family Services Ottawa has been providing services in Ottawa since 1914. We are a charity which builds resiliency in individuals and families through mental health counselling, education and support services to anybody in the Ottawa region who needs help. We focus on timely, accessible and affordable services and do not require a medical referral. Our programs are delivered by highly skilled registered therapists and counselors specializing in mental health, domestic violence, family stress, mediation, supervised access and parenting education and supports. Our Around the Rainbow program provides services and supports for the 2SLGBTQ+ youth and their families. We also run a social entreprise focused on the delivery of employee assistance programs (FSEAP) services for local employers to support workplace wellness. We employ 60 professional staff and are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
